Ascendant helps protect the reputation of your CRM data by scrubbing any new lists prior to upload. To get a new list added to your account, please send the list in Excel (CSV) format to email@example.com and indicate the following or use this crm data template.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Data must be submitted in the proper format; otherwise, data will be returned to you with feedback on what data needs to be corrected/cleaned-up before resubmitting. Common issues include --too many/few numbers in the phone or zip code fields, invalid characters or spacing, addresses data not separated into correct columns, names or address in all caps, etc. Please remove any field in your file that are not listed below.
- If a People Tag should be added to each people record, please provide the Tag Name. NOTE: We can only apply a single identical People Tag during the import.
- If a blank conversation (open Inbox activity) is to be created with each people record, please let us know.
- If a conversation should contain a Message, please include. Note: We can only apply a single identical Message during the import.
Data can be imported to the fields outlined below. Please ensure that each type of data is contained in its own column within the Excel document.
