List Types
- All Contacts— This is a default list that automatically contains every contact in the system. This list will include people who have NOT interacted and have NOT subscribed. It should only be used in special circumstances because frequent All Contact mailings can (most likely will) damage your reputation. A damaged IP reputation will result in more filtering by third email providers and poor view rates. Please consult with a support services staff if you have questions.
- All Viewers—All Contacts who have interacted with a mailing.
- All Subscribers—This list includes contacts that have signed up and subscribed. It will also include contacts that were requested by your office to be manually imported and marked as subscribers by our support team.
- Interactors—This list is part of the _Primary list. It ONLY includes people who have interacted (viewed / clicked on / subscribed to) a mailing in the last 6 months. If person subscribed more than a 365 days and has never viewed a mailing, they are automatically removed from the Interactors list.
- Non-Interactors—Everyone else! So contacts that you have not mailed to in the last 365 days.
- _Primary—This list is a combination list that dynamically updates every time you send. It always includes Interactors (which contains Subscribers) + 25% of the Non-Interactors list.
- CRM Subscribers—This is a list that has been exported from the CRM into the eNewsletter and is only available if your office uses our CRM.
- Hard-Bounce Suppression—This list contains all bad emails in the system; each mailing, all recipient lists are automatically scrubbed against it.
- Staff Imported—Our support staff imported the list of contacts for you.
- Static Lists—These are Blank lists created by the user. A Blank list starts out with no contacts, but contacts can be added to the list once it’s created.
- Staff Imported—These are called "Static" lists and are the list you send to support to upload to your eNewsletter account or blank lists created by your office.
- Manually Added—These lists are created when you manually add individuals to a specific mailing during the creation process.
- Pre-mailing—This list contains contacts that were added to a mailing prior to it being sent.
- Post-mailing—This list contains contacts that were added to a mailing that was re-sent to specific people.
- 499—This is a list created by the user that contains 499 random contacts from a source list already in the eNewsletter.
- Criteria/User Created—This is a criteria based list created by the user. It will be updated automatically as new contacts are added to the system.
- Public Attributes—These lists correspond with custom attributes created within “Account Setup.” These lists are dynamic and update automatically based on contacts’ activities with e-newsletters. Since this is a “Public Attribute,” the public will be able to see this list. These list cannot be merged.
- Private Attributes—These lists are similar to Public Attributes, but since they are “Private Attributes,” they are not visible to the public.
