From the top of the CRM's navigation bar click on the blue + and click on Campaign.
Now fill out the fields in the New Campaign screen!
- Title: Name your campaign! Quick tip: your title will double as the shortcut tag. Pick something short but easily recognizable at a glance.
- Description: Optional. Useful to provide more context to your title. This is only visible on the Campaign summary screen.
- Recipients: Your list tag goes here. Make sure to check the count before sending to minimize mistakes!
-
SMS Message: This is where the text of your
campaign
goes.
- Requirements: You MUST identify who is sending.
- Tips: Be concise and make sure to include the value proposition for your recipients. ALWAYS ask - why should your recipients care about this campaign? Highlight that answer! Include a call-to-action for your auto-response (e.g. Reply YES for more information.) Do NOT include links in the initial message.
- Note: Opt-out language is automatically included!
-
Auto-Responses: Add the text for your auto-responses
in the appropriate section.
- Tips: Do include links to your website for more information in your auto-responses. Do NOT use public link shorteners.
- Note: Only the first recipient response to a campaign is eligible for an auto-response. Leaving an auto-response blank is fine and will just mean that no response is sent for that keyword. The other auto-response field is for a general message sent to anyone who responds (with exceptions for yes / no / stop and start).
- Make sure your auto-responses are toggled to enabled.
Send Campaign: Click here when you are ready to send! You will see a preview of your campaign. Read it closely and when ready press send!
